My nephew is newly diagnosed with Dyslexia and I bought this to make him feel better about himself. (According to lists of famous people with dyslexia, Walt Disney had this learning difference.) I also purchased other books by different authors about famous dyslexics, Richard Branson, DaVinci, Einstein (who is also supposed to have been autistic too), Edison and a few others. After receiving these books his older brother told their mother that he was a little envious that he wasn't dyslexic too!!
I read this book before, and I wanted to read it again. I also wanted to know if this book had mentioned about Walt Disney being mean to a certain group of individuals . I think I have given it to someone for a birthday or Xmas gift.
Enjoy this line of books for my kids, and they are learning a lot about many historical figures.

This was an easy read for my son and he hates to read. The story was very engaging and interesting to him. He had to read a biography for middle school and this was the perfect read.
We bought this book for my 3rd grader. He was planing on using it as an autobiography. The book was told in a story format and was only about Walt Disney's childhood. I sent the book in to school for the teachers approval and she agreed with my assesment and we had to choose another book. From the description, we understood it differently.
